Heretics

Heretics Review

This collection of essays is not as religious as the title would suggest. Here, Chesterton’s typically witty musings touch upon a variety of subjects, including criticisms of literary contemporaries Rudyard Kipling and H.G. Wells. A prelude to Chesterton’s famous Orthodoxy, this collection is a fine introduction to the author’s reservations about the ideologies of the Victorian age and their most popular adherents.
